Deleting your account
Last updated 2 August 2026
You can delete your Skullaroo account and your personal information from inside the app, without asking us and without waiting.
In the app
- Open Skullaroo and go to your account screen.
- Under Danger zone, choose Delete account.
- Confirm. It happens immediately, and every device is signed out.
One condition: if you own a group that other golfers are still in, hand it over to someone else first. The app will tell you which group, and deleting your account would otherwise leave that group with nobody who can run it. A group where you are the only member is not a problem — it is simply closed along with your account.
If you cannot get in
Email [email protected] from the mobile number on the account, or tell us that number and the name of your group so we can confirm it is yours. We complete the deletion within 30 days and email you to confirm when it is done.
What gets deleted
- Your name
- Your mobile phone number
- Your handicap index and any overrides
- Your membership of every group, and any role you held in one
- Your sign-in sessions, on every device
What stays, and why
Scores from tournaments that have already been finalised remain, with your name removed.
This is deliberate, and it is worth being straight about. Other people's payouts were worked out against your card that day — skins you did or did not win, where you finished, what the pot paid. Erasing those numbers would quietly rewrite money your group already settled months ago. So the numbers stay and the person does not: the entry becomes an anonymous one, no longer connected to you or to any phone number.
Everything that has not been finalised — a draft or a live tournament — loses your entry entirely.
This cannot be undone
There is no restore. If you sign up again with the same number later, you start clean: a new account, no history, and no way to reattach the old anonymous entries to you.
